Burnley will look to earn their first point of the Premier League season when they host Tottenham on Saturday afternoon.

Vincent Kompany’s Clarets have shipped six goals in their two games so far against Manchester City and Aston Villa, while their fixture with Luton was postponed due to ground improvements at Kenilworth Road.

Spurs have picked up two wins from their opening three games but were knocked out of the Carabao Cup in only the second round in midweek as they fell to defeat at Fulham on penalties.

Ange Postecoglou made nine changes for the Carabao Cup defeat at Fulham and will revert back to a side similar to the ones that beat Manchester United and Bournemouth in their last two Premier League fixtures.

Guglielmo Vicario, Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie, Yves Bissouma, Pape Matar Sarr, Dejan Kulusevski, captain Son Heung-min and James Maddison are all expected to come back into the starting XI.

Richarlison took a knock to his ankle after scoring Spurs‚ equaliser at Craven Cottage and will need to be assessed.

Tottenham predicted lineup vs Burnley (4-2-3-1): Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Sarr, Bissouma; Kulusevski, Maddison, Son; Richarlison.

Burnley’s injury list extended during midweek, news which will not comfort manager Kompany as he attempts to bring in the first league points of the season.

Spurs may have lost some rhythm and momentum with all the starting XI changes in their loss at Fulham but should have enough creativity and quality in attack to leave Turf Moor with all three points.

Prediction: Burnley 1-2 Tottenham
