Real Madrid vs Getafe – La Liga: TV channel, team news, lineups and prediction
Real Madrid sit exactly where they want to in La Liga after three games of the 2023/24 season and will back themselves to beat Getafe in this capital derby on Saturday afternoon.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side are the only team in the Spanish top flight to have won their first three fixtures, beating Athletic Club, Almeria and Celta Vigo in matches all away from the Bernabeu.
Based on that form, Getafe will have their work cut out if they are to get anything from Madrid’s first game of the season in front of their own fans, especially considering the form Jude Bellingham is in right now.
Here is all you need to know about Real Madrid vs Getafe in La Liga this weekend.

The major team news for Madrid is the serious injury Vinicius Junior suffered against Celta Vigo. The Brazilian forward could be out for around six weeks which is a major blow, especially with few attackers at the club right now.
The other major absentees are Eder Militao and Thibaut Courtois, who both suffered ACL injuries earlier this season. Ferland Mendy, Arda Guler and Dani Ceballos are also out.
Real Madrid predicted lineup vs Getafe (4-3-1-2): Kepa; Carvajal, Rudiger, Alaba, Garcia; Valverde, Tchouameni, Camavinga; Bellingham; Rodrygo, Joselu
There are some important injuries for Getafe to deal with as well at the Bernabeu. They are without Mauro Arambarri, Luis Milla, Jose Angel Carmona and striker Enes Unal, one of their most important players last season.
Having made a steady start to the new season, Getafe will be content to get away from here with a point if they can manage it.
Getafe predicted lineup vs Real Madrid (5-4-1): Soria; Suarez, Duarte, Mitrovic, Alvarez, Iglesias; Mayoral, Maksimovic, Djene, Mata; Latasa
Getafe have already shown this season they aren’t pushovers, drawing with Barcelona and beating Alaves. Despite that form, they are going to have a really tough time here.
This Real Madrid side, even without Vinicius in attack, has got so much firepower and looks so confident that it’s hard to picture anything other than another comfortable win for Los Blancos.
