With just six gameweeks remaining, FPL Gameweek 33 becomes a key time for those managers who still have the wildcard chip remaining to activate, ahead of doubles in Gameweek 34, 36 and 37.

So who are the key targets to consider?

EdersonEderson

Predicted Points: 33.0

Tripling up on Manchester City assets comes with its pitfalls as they continue to fight for the treble.

However, Ederson now becomes a credible option as he’s nailed on to play every single game and avoid rotation, including in their looming two doubles. He has two clean sheets in five matches.

Predicted Points: 37.3

Trent Alexander-Arnold has been fantasy gold since adopting a new inverted full-back role in Liverpool’s midfield.

In just three games he’s notched four assists. Liverpool have the kindest run of fixtures until the end of the season, avoiding all of the current top four, and they double-up for fixtures in Gameweek 34.

Predicted Points: 47.2

Marcus Rashford has returned from injury and should be back in our teams for the run-in with doubles in both 34 & 37.

120 minutes in the FA Cup on Sunday proved his fitness and the schedule now eases for Manchester United since they failed to progress to the Europa League semi-finals. He remains the highest scoring player in the game since the FPL restart.

Predicted Points: 44.0

Brighton assets are really important targets for the run-in with nine fixtures across three doubles in the remaining six weeks.

Solly March remains the main pick from their attack, especially with Alexis Mac Allister returning to a deeper role. March now has 15 goal involvements for the season, ranking him 15th among all players and in the top 10 midfielders.

Alexander IsakAlexander Isak

Predicted Points: 34.5

Since returning from injury, Alexander Isak has emerged as a key player for Newcastle and Eddie Howe’s first choice striker. The Magpies have scored 15 goals in five games since the international break, with Isak scoring four of them.

We have to be patient for Newcastle United’s upcoming Double Gameweek 36, but Everton and Southampton in the next two gameweeks provide significant appeal.
