Leicester vs Chelsea WSL: TV channel, live stream, team news & prediction

It’s top of the table against bottom in the WSL on Saturday as Chelsea travel to Leicester.

The Foxes are winless and pointless after eight games, but were unfortunate to lose to West Ham last time out as they continue to find their feet under new boss Willie Kirk.

Chelsea meanwhile rose to the top of the pile for the first time this season after their victory over Tottenham last time out in the WSL.

When is kick off? Saturday 3 December, 15:00 (GMT)
Where is the match being played? King Power Stadium
TV channel/live stream? FA Player (UK, International)
Referee? Amy Fearn

Jess Sigsworth and Hannah Cain remain long term absentees for Leicester as the pair continue their recoveries from ACL injuries.

Willie Kirk admitted that his side were ‚really struggling‘ with injuries ahead of Saturday’s fixture, with three new, unnamed players to miss out against Chelsea.

Chelsea continue to be without Pernille Harder due to a hamstring injury sustained in November.

Emma Hayes confirmed that she otherwise has a fully fit squad to choose from for Saturday’s fixture.

Chelsea are flying at the moment, with Sam Kerr, Lauren James and Erin Cuthbert currently in irresistible form. The Blues have won 10 on the bounce in all competitions following their surprise opening day defeat.

While Leicester have shown signs that they’re close to picking up their first points of the season, against an in-form Chelsea doesn’t seem the most likely place they’ll do it. It should be a relatively straightforward victory for the Blues.

Prediction: Leicester 0-4 Chelsea
