Paris Saint-Germain vs Nice: How to watch on TV live stream, lineups & predictions
Reigning French champions Paris Saint-Germain host Nice in Ligue 1 on Saturday evening.
PSG have continued to stack up victories despite spluttering in and out of top gear during recent matches. A newfound parsimonious streak – Christophe Galtier’s side have kept four consecutive clean sheets – has strengthened their grip on top spot.
Under the returning Lucien Favre, Nice navigated their way through the Europa Conference League qualifiers but at the expense of an underwhelming domestic start. The French Riviera outfit have collected eight points from as many games thanks in no small part to a glut of wayward finishing.
Here’s everything you need to know about the meeting between Ligue 1’s most potent attack and a thoroughly misfiring frontline.

PSG team news
Marco Verratti pulled out of Italy’s international camp with a calf problem but will be suspended against Nice regardless of his fitness. Presnel Kimpembe is set to be out with a hamstring strain until the end of October while Renato Sanches has been nursing a problem with his right adductor.
With a tricky trip away to Benfica in the Champions League speeding into view, coupled with his recent continental travel while on international duty with Argentina, Galtier may take this weekend as his first opportunity to rest Lionel Messi.
PSG Starting 11 (3-4-3): Donnarumma; Ramos, Marquinhos, Danilo; Hakimi, Ruiz, Vitinha, Mendes; Sarabia, Mbappe, Neymar.
Bench: Navas, Bernat, Messi, Mukiele, Soler, Bitshiabu, Zaire-Emery, Ekitike, Gharbi.
Nice team news
Jean-Clair Todibo entered the record books with a red card nine seconds into Nice’s defeat to Angers last time out. The former Barcelona centre-back took longer to trudge off the pitch and will be serving his suspension this weekend.
Aaron Ramsey is one of just two players to have scored from open play in Ligue 1 for Nice this season. The former Arsenal midfielder has missed the club’s last four matches but is scheduled to return from a hamstring injury this weekend, rejoining Nice’s burgeoning cast of former Premier League players – including the likes of Ross Barkley, Joe Bryan and Mario Lemina.
Nice Starting 11 (4-4-2): Schmeichel; Lotomba, Viti, Dante, Bard; Pepe, Lemina, Thuram, Diop; Laborde, Delort.
Bench: Bulka, Bryan, Atal, Beka Beka, Rosario, Barkley, Boudaoui, Brahimi, Ramsey.
The odds – as ever in Ligue 1 – may be stacked in PSG’s favour, but Nice can at least take solace from the venue of this fixture, namely, anywhere but at their home ground. Lucien Favre’s side have collected seven of their eight points this season on the road.
PSG, it should be stressed, aren’t exactly unconvincing on home turf, boasting a 25-match unbeaten streak at the Parc des Princes in Ligue 1. Up against the side with the fewest non-penalty goals in France (just two), PSG are heavy favourites to extend their lossless run.
Prediction: PSG 2-0 Nice
