Crystal Palace predicted lineup vs Manchester United – Premier League
Crystal Palace welcome Manchester United to Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Patrick Vieira has led Palace to more goals scored, far fewer conceded and a superior points total compared to last season’s 14th-placed finish with one game still to play in an encouraging campaign.
Here’s the XI Vieira may deploy for one last hurray of the 2021/22 season.

Jack Butland (GK) – With an unspecified issue denying Vicente Guaita a starting berth in Palace’s past three matches, the former Stoke shot-stopper may be called upon once again.
Nathaniel Clyne (RB) – The Palace academy graduate has defeated Manchester United in three different competitions down the years.
Joachim Andersen (CB) – An integral ball-playing asset as Vieira has overhauled Palace’s style in possession this season.
Marc Guehi (CB) – Palace’s Players‘ Player of the Season has shaken off an ankle problem to surely ensure he will appear in every Selhurst Park match this campaign.
Tyrick Mitchell (LB) – An ever-present until April, a niggling calf injury has scuppered Mitchell’s perfect record but the club’s Young Player of the Season has recovered in recent weeks.
Conor Gallagher (CM) – Granted a rare rest for Thursday’s chaotic reverse against Everton, the Chelsea loanee is expected to make a swift return to the starting XI.
Will Hughes (CM) – The former Watford midfielder has lost six of his seven career meetings with Manchester United but is yet to face them as an Eagle.
Jeffrey Schlupp (CM) – With four goals this term, Schlupp has equalled his career-high tally of Premier League strikes across a season.
Jordan Ayew (RW) – Had Anthony Taylor not been quite so lenient, Ayew may not have been on the field to put Palace 2-0 up in midweek. Without a suspension to juggle, Vieira may turn to the 30-year-old again.
Jean-Philippe Mateta (ST) – The burly French frontman has the chance to score in consecutive league outings for the first time since back-to-back Bundesliga goals in November 2020.
Wilfried Zaha (LW) – Manchester United parted ways with an eight-digit sum in 2012 to secure Zaha’s services but didn’t grant him a single Premier League start.
