The 2021/22 Women’s Champions League final will feature Barcelona and Lyon, a mouthwatering contest of epic proportion between two sets of world class players.

Barcelona are the reigning champions, having won the competition for the first time in their history in 2021. They beat two-time champions Wolfsburg 5-3 on aggregate in the semi-finals.

Lyon are the most successful side in the competition’s history, having won the Champions League on seven occasions – including five years in a row between 2016 and 2020. Their semi-final victory came at the expense of domestic rivals Paris Saint-Germain.
