Rangers were in Europa League semi-final action in midweek after a narrow 1-0 defeat to RB Leipzig in the first leg. Celtic will be wary of reading too much into the Gers‘ European exertions after losing the Scottish Cup encounter earliert this month after Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side had played 120 minutes in the quarter-finals three days previously.

Postecoglou hinted that he could unleash both Kyogo and Giorgos Giakoumakis in attack this weekend after the Japanese netted his first goal in his return from injury in the 2-0 win at Ross County last weekend.
The Australian confirmed Josip Juranovic will miss out through injury, while Nir Bitton trained earlier this week.
Kemar Roofe, Alfredo Morelos and Aaron Ramsey will be unavailable for the trip to Celtic Park, although Van Bronckhorst is hopeful the former will be fit enough for the return leg against RB Leipzig in midweek.
Ianis Hagi and Filip Helander have been ruled out for the rest of the season, with Nnamdi Ofoborh yet to feature for Rangers after arriving last summer due to a heart issue.
The Scottish Cup semi-final clash two weeks ago was decided on very fine margins, with Rangers ultimately deserving of the victory after Cameron Carter-Vickers spurned a great chance to double Celtic’s lead.
