Celtic and Rangers will lock horns in the fifth and final Old Firm clash of the season as the Hoops look to take a considerable step towards securing the Scottish Premiership title.

Ange Postecoglou’s side sit six points clear of their city rivals at the summit of the table and could all but reclaim their crown in Scotland with victory.

Rangers were in Europa League semi-final action in midweek after a narrow 1-0 defeat to RB Leipzig in the first leg. Celtic will be wary of reading too much into the Gers‘ European exertions after losing the Scottish Cup encounter earliert this month after Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side had played 120 minutes in the quarter-finals three days previously.

Postecoglou hinted that he could unleash both Kyogo and Giorgos Giakoumakis in attack this weekend after the Japanese netted his first goal in his return from injury in the 2-0 win at Ross County last weekend.

The Australian confirmed Josip Juranovic will miss out through injury, while Nir Bitton trained earlier this week.
