Tottenham will endeavour to get their Premier League top four push back on track when they host Leicester on Sunday.

A run of two games without a victory – or a shot on target – has left Spurs trailing Arsenal in the race and Antonio Conte is in desperate need of a victory to avoid losing any more ground at such a crucial point in the season.

They’ll fancy their chances against a Leicester side with nothing to play for in the Premier League and all their eggs in the Europa Conference League basket. Brendan Rodgers‘ men are locked at 1-1 in their semi-final with Roma and will travel to Italy to fight for a spot in the final on Thursday.

Here’s all you need to know about this one.

Long-term absentees Matt Doherty and Japhet Tanganga have been joined by Oliver Skipp, whose ongoing groin issue has now ruled him out for the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery.

That’s nothing new to Conte, who will have the same squad available to him as he did for the 0-0 draw with Brentford.

Left-back Timothy Castagne went off injured early on in the Roma game, joining Ryan Bertrand and Wilfred Ndidi on the treatment table.

Rodgers will also be tempted to field somewhat of a weaker side to preserve his big-hitters for the European second leg, especially with nothing but pride left to play for this season.

Spurs will have done a lot of attacking work over the last week after two consecutive failures to muster up a shot on target, so Conte will demand a significant improvement here.

There’s a good chance he’ll get that against a Leicester side whose defensive injury woes are mounting, but Rodgers is unlikely to field his strongest team anyway in order to rest his stars for the season-defining trip to Rome.

Everything points to a comfortable victory for Spurs.

Prediction: Tottenham 2-0 Leicester
