Chelsea vs Liverpool: TV channel, live stream, team news & prediction
Chelsea and Liverpool travel to Wembley Stadium for the first domestic final of the season in the Carabao Cup on Sunday afternoon.
Thomas Tuchel’s side have already collected a piece of silverware in the current campaign, going into the contest as the club champions of the world. Liverpool won that global crown in 2019 but are in search of their first trophy since hoisting aloft the Premier League title 18 months ago.
Here’s everything you need to know about Sunday’s cup final.

A major boost for the Blues will be the sight of Reece James taking to the grass once again. The wingback hasn’t made a competitive appearance in 2022 but could squirm into a side that greatly benefits from his impact going forward.
Both Mateo Kovacic and Hakim Ziyech limped off within eight minutes of each other during Chelsea’s comfortable Champions League victory in midweek as each face a tight race to recover for the final, though Tuchel revealed on Friday the only definite absentee for this one is Ben Chilwell.
Liverpool’s two chief injury concerns surround the pair that have shared the responsibility for lining up through the middle; Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino.
Jota hasn’t reappeared since suffering a swollen ankle against Inter in mid-February. Firmino was his replacement that night but picked up a muscle problem the same week.
Sadio Mane may be forced into a more central role if neither can make the final, while Caoimhin Kelleher will start in goal.
Tuchel is yet to lose to his compatriot Jurgen Klopp since taking over at Chelsea; manufacturing a 1-0 win at Anfield last March by targeting the space behind Liverpool’s backline, before earning a pair of draws this season.
Liverpool, however, are in utterly imperious form. Buoyed by nine consecutive wins across all competitions – in which they’ve conceded just three goals – Klopp’s title challengers may edge it, especially if either of their central forwards can return.
Prediction: Chelsea 1-2 Liverpool
