Barcelona will look to keep their European journey going when they travel to Napoli for the second leg of their Europa League knockout tie.

In their competition debut, Xavi’s men were held 1-1 at Camp Nou, with Ferran Torres‘ second-half penalty cancelling out an earlier strike from Piotr Zielinski and setting up a mouth-watering affair for the return leg.

Both sides come into this one in good form. Barcelona are unbeaten in their last five, while Napoli can claim a six-game unbeaten streak – although the last three have been draws.

Here’s all you need to know about this one.

Right-back could be a problem area for Napoli after Giovanni Di Lorenzo suffered a head injury on Monday. The club have confirmed that Di Lorenzo has no long-term concerns and so he could start here, particularly given his deputy, Kevin Malcuit, picked up a calf injury on Monday as well.

Elsewhere, Hirving Lozano, Stanislav Lobotka, Andre Zambo Anguissa, Matteo Politano and Lorenzo Insigne are all unavailable, but Victor Osimhen will take his place at the top of Napoli’s attack after being rested last time out.

Frenkie de Jong is part of the travelling squad and appears to have overcome the knock that forced him off against Valencia at the weekend. Eric Garcia also went off injured in that game but was unlikely to start here anyway, with Gerard Pique back available after serving his domestic suspension.

Both Memphis Depay and Clement Lenglet remain out, despite having returned to training recently, so they’ll join Samuel Umtiti, Ansu Fati, Alejandro Balde and Sergi Roberto on the sidelines.

Right-back Dani Alves is unregistered, so Sergino Dest should start in his place.

Napoli’s numerous injury issues look too serious to ignore here. They’re missing key players in all areas of the pitch and could find it hard to cope.

They’ll fancy themselves to score a goal against Barcelona’s shaky defence, but Xavi has so many options in his new-look attack. They’ve bagged ten goals in their last three La Liga games and won’t be scared of coming up against Kalidou Koulibaly in the Napoli defence.

This could be a fun game, one Barcelona may just edge by the odd goal.

Prediction: Napoli 1-2 Barcelona
