Having scored 15 goals in six games, Liverpool boast the competition’s scariest forward line, but they’ll need to be at their best if they are to find a way through a City side whose total of one goal conceded is the best in the league.

Liverpool will be without right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, who remains sidelined with the muscle injury that kept him out of the win over Porto, so expect another appearance from the indefatigable James Milner at the back.
