Celtic predicted lineup vs Rangers – Old Firm derby

Business

There’s a fairly easy way to describe Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic:

Free-scoring.

In their first three league games this season the Bhoys have scored a fairly ridiculous 13 goals (yep, 13 goals in three games) and yet have still managed to lose one of those games despite also only conceding two.

How? Well, we’re not quite sure.

Next up for Celtic is a crucial Old Firm derby, and here’s how they should line up for it:

Joe Hart (GK): Surprisingly he’s not been that bad so far.

Anthony Ralston (RB): A Celtic youth product, Ralston will know the importance of the Old Firm more than most.

Carl Starfelt (CB): A summer signing, Starfelt has seamlessly slotted straight into the starting XI at Parkhead.

Stephen Welsh (CB): Born in 2000 and set to play in the Old Firm this weekend. Yes we feel old too.

Greg Taylor (LB): A real grafter on the left flank, expect Taylor to run the channel like his life depends on it this Sunday.

Ryan Christie (CM): Expect Christie to be linked with basically every club in England from now until Tuesday night, and expect him to also have a pretty damn good game on Sunday for Celtic against Rangers too.

Callum McGregor (CM): The new club captain after Scott Brown’s departure, McGregor is the heart and soul of this Celtic team.

David Turnball (CM): The hat-trick hero of last weekend’s dismantling of St. Mirren.

Liel Abada (RW): Only 19 years old, but surely he has to start after his brace against St Mirren last Saturday.

Odsonne Edouard (ST): He really, really doesn’t want to be a Celtic player. The Old Firm may be his last game for the club.

Kyogo Furuhashi (LW): Who knew Kyogo was this good? The Japanese forward has been in astonishing form for Celtic, having scored seven in seven since signing in July.
