Paris Saint-Germain are planning an extraordinary late bid for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland as a replacement for Real Madrid bound Kylian Mbappe.

While PSG chiefs have publicly claimed they have no intention of letting Mbappe leave this summer, Real are confident of signing the French World Cup winner in a deal said to be worth €180m.

Dortmund have been similarly insistent that Haaland would not be leaving this year, with most big clubs expected to pick up their interest next summer when a release clause of £64m comes into effect.

However, the Telegraph report that PSG have ’sounded out‘ agent Mino Raiola over whether Haaland could leave BVB this late in the window. They say the money they will bring in from Mbappe’s sale could be used to make a bid for the Norway international, though his departure would leave Dortmund in an incredibly tough situation with the season already well under way.

A source has also told 90min Dortmund are ‚laughing‘ over talk of Haaland leaving with just days remaining in the transfer window. However, that does not mean PSG won’t test their resolve with a massive bid.

Talks have also been opened with Everton over a deal to take Richarlison to Parc des Princes. The French giants made their interest known earlier in the summer, while Real have also been heavily linked during recent transfer windows.

Toffees boss Rafa Benitez has insisted the club want to hang on to Richarlison despite PSG’s interest.

With the transfer window approaching its final stages, some of the world’s biggest players‘ futures are still yet to be decided.
