Celtic home kit for 2021/22 leaked
The new Celtic home shirt for the 2021/22 campaign has been leaked, offering some subtle differences to their current strip, and a minor change in colour patterns.
This kit is the second made by adidas for the Hoops, having begun their partnership at the start of the 2020/21 season, after going their separate ways from New Balance.
And Footy Headlines have revealed images of the new Celtic jersey, which was leaked by Maskjerseys, showing the famous green and white hoops that the players will be donning next year.
This time, adidas have opted not to use any yellow in the trimmings of the shirt, giving the jersey a more simple yet classic look. The shade of green is the same as last year’s edition, and the dafabet sponsor is placed under their logo.
The adidas logo and the Celtic badge sit on either side of the chest, and the green fades to white on the collar and edges of the sleeves, in comparison to last year’s jersey, which boasted a yellow border.
It is a major step in the opposite direction by the manufacturers, as they had originally reintroduced the yellow tinge for the first time since Celtic wore their 2009/10 strip.
The new shirt is expected to be released in May 2021, and is likely to cost €90 when it is placed on sale.
Celtic will be hoping to enjoy more success in next year’s jersey, having surrendered the Scottish Premier League title for the first time in 10 years while wearing their maiden adidas kit in their latest sponsorship deal.
