The best passers in EA Sports FC 24
Pace may still reign supreme in EA Sports FC 24, but it’s not the only thing that makes the top players on the game stand out.
While not as glamorous as having a striker with 97 pace and 94 shooting, passing remains an incredibly important attribute, especially for those with a less direct approach to playing the game.
Lumping it over the top for Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland to chase may be satisfying in its own way, but carving a team apart with beautiful tiki-taka one-touch football is arguably more rewarding.
With that in mind, here are the best passers in EA Sports FC 24 to help turn your team into Pep Guardiola’s prime Barcelona.

Crossing: 90
Short passing: 89
Long passing: 84
Despite playing just 13 league games for Barcelona last season, Hansen finished with 11 goals and six assists in Liga F. In the 2020/21 season, Hansen finished with a league-high 18 assists for Barcelona, continually showcasing her incredible passing range in Spain and for Norway.
The right-winger is the joint-11th best player in EAFC 24, boasting an impressive 90 overall rating. Her 88 passing is well complemented by 90 dribbling, 89 pace and 86 shooting to make her a formidable all-rounder.
Vision: 91
Crossing: 86
Short passing: 91
Long passing: 92
The 38-year-old may have taken a downgrade to his overall, now sitting at 87, but his incredible 89 passing remains unaffected. The central midfielder has consistently been one of the world’s best passers for the last decade, something reflected by his 92 long passing, 91 short passing and 91 vision.
Understandably, Modric also has the trivela PlayStyle due to his love for the outside of the foot pass.
Vision: 90
Crossing: 88
Short passing: 90
Long passing: 90
Another former Tottenham central midfielder, Eriksen ranks ever-so-slightly higher than Modric in the top ten. The Manchester United man also has 89 passing, but boasts slightly more complete stats.
Eriksen also has several different passing specific PlayStyles, including incisive pass, long ball pass, whipped pass and dead ball. The 83 overall midfielder possesses five-star weak foot as well.

Short passing: 92
Long passing: 90
Deemed as La Liga’s second best passer, Parejo is generally seen as Squad Building Challenge fodder for Ultimate Team players. Despite being 86 overall, his 49 pace and 69 physicality don’t make him a great option.
However, Parejo may be a more usable asset in Career Mode due to his fantastic 90 passing. He too has the long ball pass and dead ball PlayStyle, as well as pinged pass.
Vision: 92
Crossing: 83
Short passing: 91
Long passing: 90
Perhaps a little unfortunate not to be higher on the list, Messi comes in at number six. Rewind a few years and he would have found himself among the top three at the very least, but his 90 card has received a few downgrades in recent years.
Still, Messi boasts 90 passing, while also having the tiki-taka and technical PlayStyles among others. He’ll still be incredibly fun to use.

Crossing: 93
Short passing: 88
Long passing: 91
Despite receiving a one overall downgrade to his now 86-rated card, Alexander-Arnold’s passing has been increased to 90 in EAFC 24. His other stats are fairly mediocre for a player of his level, but his 93 crossing, 91 long passing and 90 vision make up for them.
Similarly to Messi, the right-back may feel slightly hard done by not to be higher, but he is competing with some titans of the passing game.
Vision: 94
Crossing: 87
Short passing: 90
Long passing: 92
Fernandes has been rewarded for last season’s performances with an upgrade in EAFC 24, with the Man Utd man now sitting at 88 overall. His passing has also gone from 88 to 90, with his 94 vision the second best in the game.
With 86 shooting and 83 dribbling, the attacking midfielder will be a great option both online and offline, while also boasting incisive, long ball and pinged pass PlayStyles.
Vision: 89
Crossing: 88
Short passing: 92
Long passing: 92
Similarly to Parejo, Kroos has largely been seen as fodder in Ultimate Team in recent years. Now having dropped to an 86-rated card, that’s probably more true than ever.
His 90 passing is incredible, but 51 pace makes him too easy to bypass in central midfield. The 33-year-old does have five-star weak foot though.
Vision: 91
Crossing: 88
Short passing: 94
Long passing: 91
The two-time Ballon d’Or winner is by far the best female player in the game, with a 91 card that boasts 91 passing, 92 dribbling, 90 shooting and 82 pace from central midfield.
Her five-star weak foot and skill moves will make her borderline unplayable, with 94 short passing the joint best in the game. The Spanish midfielder could be a must-have.
Vision: 95
Crossing: 95
Short passing: 94
Long passing: 94
There is one player that stands far away on his own as the best passer in EAFC 24; Kevin De Bruyne. The Man City central midfielder has 94 passing – yes, 94 – and an incredible 95 vision and crossing, as well as 94 short and long passing.
His total is three higher than Putellas in second, with the Belgian’s 88 shooting and 87 dribbling also making him an absolute monster. He is a fair winner of the passing crown.
