When is the Carabao Cup fourth round draw?

Business

The Carabao Cup is now in full swing and while not a trophy that captures the imagination the most during a season, it’s always an opportunity for clubs to secure a trip to Wembley and potentially some silverware.

Viewed by top clubs as a gateway to better trophies, less successful sides often use the competition to attempt to make a bit of history. It has also been treated with contempt in the past, with managers more focused on league ambitions.

Here’s the date and time for the Carabao Cup fourth round draw, as well as which teams have already booked their place and those yet to play.

The third round matches in the Carabao Cup have been spread over two days between Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

Three Premier League sides were dumped out of the competition on Tuesday night, with two dispatched by teams from lower divisions. Championship high-flyers Ipswich Town got the better of a struggling Wolves team and won 3-2, while the biggest scalp came as League One Exeter City knocked out Luton Town with a 1-0 victory.

Holders Manchester United were in action, beating Crystal Palace 3-0 at Old Trafford in a straightforward third-round win. The two sides do battle again at the weekend, though this time in the Premier League.
