Esme Morgan and Steph Houghton remain long-term injury absentees for Manchester City, having both been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
Vicky Losada and Jess Park are closing in on a first team return; the latter has been struggling with a calf injury, and the former a knee problem. Neither will be available on Saturday, but Gareth Taylor stated the pair could potentially return before the end of the season.
Fliss Gibbons is available once more for Brighton, having sat out the Seagulls‘ defeat to Birmingham last time out.
Libby Bance and Ellie Brazil have both been ruled out, and Hope Powell confirmed there were a handful of unnamed players in her squad managing niggling injuries from the weekend.
Man City (4-3-3): Roebuck; Bronze, Greenwood, Kennedy, Blakstad; Walsh, Stanway, Weir; Kelly, White, Hemp
Brighton (4-5-1): Walsh; Le Tissier, Kerkdijk, Williams, Kullberg; Koivisto, Whelan, Zigiotti Olme, Gibbons; Lee.
Manchester City are in scintillating form, winning 10 on the bounce in all competitions and conceding just three in that time.
Brighton held City during the first half of the pair’s clash in January, before being blown away in the second as Gareth Taylor’s side ran out 6-0 winners. It won’t be quite as emphatic on Saturday, but another straightforward City win looks the most likely outcome.
Prediction: Man City 3-0 Brighton
