Transfer deadline day is finally upon us, bringing to a conclusion a frenetic summer window that has seen vast amounts of money spent on new players.
The fun isn’t over yet though for the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal, all of whom will have players arriving or leaving on deadline day.
Indeed, it’s at Stamford Bridge where there’s expected to be a vast amount of outgoings – Enzo Maresca has publicly stated that the group of players not training with the first team will not get minutes under his watch.
Arne Slot is also expecting some players to potentially leave Liverpool, though it’s unlikely that goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher will be heading out of the door after a cash plus player offer from Nottingham Forest was turned down.
